Standard Payment and Cancellation Policies
High Season and Holiday Season: November 1 – April 30
50% payment is required at the time of booking. The remaining 50% will be charged 60 days in advance of arrival. Cancellations or modifications made within 60 days of the arrival date are non-refundable. 100% of the reservation will be charged.
Green Season: May 1 – October 31
A 50% deposit is charged at the time of booking. The remaining 50% will be charged 30 days in advance of arrival. If the reservation is canceled or modified within 30 days of the arrival date, the full reservation will be charged.
If your plans change after your reservation is confirmed, cancellation notice is required in advance per the date schedules below. If you cancel within the allowed days, you will be refunded your deposit, minus a $120 cancellation fee.
During all seasons, please note 100% of the total amount of the reservation will be charged in the case of a “no-show”.
Additionally, should you depart the hotel earlier than your scheduled check out date, the amount charged for the unused nights on your original reservation cannot be refunded.
Check In/Check Out Times
Check In is available starting at 3pm
Check Out is 11am.
For late arrivals or special accommodations, please contact the reservations team.
Minimum Stay Requirements
Minimum stay requirements for High and Holiday Season may apply to maintain availability and avoid one-night gaps.
Children
Domo Hotel is a small boutique hotel designed for an adult experience. While the hotel is kid friendly, it may not provide the wide range of amenities or activities typically found at family hotels. We recommend this hotel for families who prefer a more relaxed setting, where the focus is on beach and nature experiences.
Room Occupancies and Additional Persons
At Domo Hotel, our one bedroom units are designed for 2 guests. You can add additional guests for a nightly rate of $80 plus taxes. Please note that the Loft Suite is not recommended for children under the age of 5. Our 2 bedroom units have a maximum occupancy of 4 guests.
Pets & Service Animals
No pets, including service animals, are permitted on DOMO property.
Non-Smoking Hotel
DOMO Hotel is a 100% smoke, vape and candle free property. A $200 cleaning fee will be charged to any room in violation of this policy. In accordance with Costa Rican Law, smoking is forbidden in any public areas. Please consult reception for information about designated smoking areas.
Nightly Fees
In addition to the nightly room rate, you will pay the 13% Costa Rican VAT tax per night plus a $10 per night donation towards local Nosara non-profits that depend on our support (Bomberos, Kitson Library, Wildlife Conservation Association, Nosara Civic Association, Nosara Animal Care, and Dreamcatchers)
Guest Responsibility
Life happens, even when you are on vacation. But if Domo Hotel property is damaged due to gross negligence, guests will be held financially responsible.
Domo Hotel is not responsible for the loss of valuables in guest rooms or automobiles. Please be mindful of your valuables. Use the safe provided in your guest room and remember to lock your cars.
Parking
Parking is complimentary for our guests, but it is limited. Please park mindfully to share with other guests and remember to lock your vehicles.
